A Winter Storm Warning is now in effect for parts of South Carolina, particularly in the Upstate region, as of this morning, January 10, 2025. The National Weather Service reports ongoing mixed wintry precipitation, including snow, sleet, and freezing rain, leading to hazardous travel conditions in affected areas. Roads are becoming icy, and visibility may be limited. Travel is strongly discouraged unless absolutely necessary. If you must travel, use extreme caution and check for road closures using the SCDOT Road Closures Map.
If you are a patient and believe this weather event may affect your access to care, please contact your dialysis facility as soon as possible to confirm treatment availability and make necessary arrangements. Stay safe and prepared!
