Effective May 1, 2026, IPRO is the contractor for the Kidney Health Analytics & Responsive Emergency Support (KHARES) program under the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).

KHARES leads national emergency preparedness and response for the ESRD community—coordinating response efforts, supporting ESRD Networks, and helping ensure continuity of care for dialysis patients during emergencies.
