Strong winds, rain and thunderstorms are expected to begin Friday morning, January 12, 2024, in Georgia. The greatest risk for seeing a tornado will be along and south of a LaGrange to Griffin to Jefferson to Washington line, Friday afternoon/early evening. Power outages and tornadoes may occur as a result. A wind advisory goes into effect beginning at 7AM and will continue through Friday evening.
