South Carolina Upstate: Winter Storm Warning – January 21, 2025

A Winter Storm Warning is now in effect for parts of South Carolina, particularly in the Upstate region, as of this morning, January 10, 2025. Mixed wintry precipitation, including snow, sleet, and freezing rain, is occurring and creating hazardous travel conditions. Snow and ice accumulations are making roads slick and dangerous, with rapidly changing conditions expected throughout the day. If you must be on the road, use extreme caution and check for closures using the SCDOT Road Closures Map.

If you are a dialysis patient and believe this winter weather event may affect your access to care, please contact your dialysis facility as soon as possible to confirm treatment availability and make arrangements. Stay safe and prepared!
