Georgia: Tropical Storm Helene – September 24, 2024

The Govenor of Georgia has declared a State of Emergency for today, September 24, 2024, in preparation for Tropical Storm Helene. Tropical Storm Helene is forecasted to make landfall in Georgia Thursday evening, September 26, 2024, continuing into Friday, September 27, 2024, bringing with it strong winds, heavy rain and potential flooding. Please take time to prepare and follow local emergency guidance.
