A Winter Storm Watch is in effect for all of north Georgia and portions of central Georgia beginning tomorrow morning, January 10, 2025. Total snow and sleet accumulations of 2-4 inches are possible in northern Georgia, with up to 2 inches in metro Atlanta and surrounding areas. It is advised to stay off the roads, if possible. Those who must commute should be prepared for rapidly changing road conditions and icy roadways. Before traveling, check for road closures, using the 511GA Road Closure Map.
