North Carolina: Winter Storm Warning – January 10, 2025

A Winter Storm Warning is now in effect for much of North Carolina as of this morning, January 10, 2025. The National Weather Service is reporting mixed wintry precipitation, including snow, sleet, and freezing rain, which is already creating hazardous travel conditions across the region. Roadways are becoming icy and visibility may be limited in some areas. It is strongly advised to avoid travel unless absolutely necessary. If you must travel, exercise extreme caution and check for road closures using the DriveNC Road Closure Map.

If you are a patient and believe this weather event may affect your access to care, please contact your dialysis facility immediately to confirm treatment availability and make necessary arrangements. Stay safe and prepared!
