Heavy rain and scattered thunderstorms are impacting parts of Connecticut today, July 31, 2025, with conditions expected to continue into the evening. Areas of concern include Fairfield, New Haven, and Middlesex Counties, with Flood Watches and Advisories in effect. Periods of intense rainfall may lead to flash flooding, especially in urban areas, along rivers and streams, and in low-lying or poorly drained locations.

Strong winds and rain are expected to occur today, December 11, 2024, in Connecticut, with the greatest effect in the eastern part of the state. Downed trees, power lines and power outages may occur as a result. A high wind advisory is in effect and will continue through the evening.

Connecticut: Heat Advisory – June 21, 2024

Heat advisories have been issued beginning Friday, June 21, 2024. Temperatures are expected to climb, with the hottest days being over 100 degrees. Temperatures are forecasted to remain in the 90s through the weekend.
On hot days, the National Weather Service recommends staying indoors and not engaging in strenuous activities.
